The BBC reports that Chelsea are in talks with AC Milan over the signing of French international goalkeeper Mike Maignan.

The Rossoneri have priced Maignan at £25m but the Blues are unwilling to เล่นบาคาร่า UFABET เว็บตรง ค่าคอมสูง pay that price and are negotiating to lower the asking price.

The 29-year-old has been a regular for Milan since joining from Lille in 2021 on a five-year deal.

Maignan has also been France’s number one since Hugo Lloris retired in January 2023 and has won 30 caps since making his international debut in 2020.

Sources have told BBC Sport that Maignan is interest in a move to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have had a goalkeeping problem since signing Kepa Arrizabalaga in 2018 for £71m, which remains the world’s most expensive goalkeeper to date.

Two years later, the Blues signed Edouard Mendy, who moved to Al-Ahly in 2023, while Kepa has spent the past two seasons on loan at Real Madrid and Bournemouth.

In the last two years, Chelsea have signed Robert Sanchez, Jorge Pedrovic and Filip Jorgensen, but the club are not comfortable with all three.

Last season, Petrovic was loaned out to Strasbourg. While Sanchez and Jorgensen alternate in goal for Chelsea.
